Warriors Weekly: Golden State Cruising Into All-Star Break With Trade Deadline Looming

The Golden State Warriors have the best record in the NBA with a 40-11 mark with only two weeks left until the All-Star break, but the trade deadline is in a week and the Warriors could be active. Golden State has expressed interest in New York Knicks big man Kyle O'Quinn and is expected to explore a potential trade for New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis this offseason. Of course, there was also today's report that they may pursue LeBron James in free agency this summer. Here's an update on everything you may have missed and everything you need to know inside our Warriors Weekly update:

Last Week:
Golden State wrapped up a three-game homestand at the end of last week with a 126-113 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday before holding off a late rally from the Boston Celtics in a 109-105 win on Saturday. In that win over Boston, Stephen Curry scored a season-high 49 points - including 13 in the final two minutes - to lead the Warriors to the win.

The Warriors then started a three-game road trip on Tuesday against the Utah Jazz and put forth perhaps their worst performance of the year in a 129-99 loss. Golden State shot just 20 percent from three-point range allowed the Jazz to shoot over 58 percent from the field as a team. Curry and Kevin Durant combined for only 31 points on 9/26 shooting.

What's Up Next:
The Warriors will wrap up their road trip with back-to-back games this weekend against the Sacramento Kings on Friday and against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. They'll then return home to face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday (7:30 p.m. PT, ESPN) in the first of two matchups between the teams at Oracle Arena this season.

Injuries:
Kevin Looney is listed as day-to-day with a stomach issue.
