Bold Prediction Of The Day: Stockholm Syndrome

It's about time to make some bold predictions for tomorrow's tennis action. With the season winding down, some players are fading, while other are prospering.

Milos Raonic (noted in a previous post as an upcoming star of the ATP) hasn't made an ATP tournament semifinal since Memphis in February. A hip injury suffered at Wimbledon sidelined this young Canadian for most of the season, but he's come back strong and will face France's Gale Monfils in the Stockholm Open semis tomorrow in Sweden. James Blake takes on Jarrko Nieminen in the other semi.

James Blake has had a bit of a career comeback this year, reaching the final in Sacramento, and the semis here in Stockholm.

Predictions:

Milos Raonic will upset #1 seed Gael Monfils tomorrow. My scoreline prediction: 6-3 7-5

James Blake will defeat Jarrko Nieminen in the semis by a score of 4-6 6-3 6-2

This will set up a North American final with America's James Blake and Canada's Milos Raonic.

Results tomorrow.
