Kevin Durant Wins 2017 NBA Finals MVP

The Golden State Warriors have captured the 2017 NBA title and forward Kevin Durant is the Finals MVP. Durant, in his first year with the Warriors after leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder, was the obvious choice.

Durant played fantastic basketball, on both sides of the court. He's the first player with at least 30 points in five straight finals games since Shaq did it in 2000.

Durant's best game was likely the last one. In Game 5, Durant put up 39 points on an absurd 14 of 20 shooting. He also had seven boards and five assists.
