Warriors Capture 2017 NBA Title With Game 5 Win Over Cavs

The Golden State Warriors are the 2017 NBA Champions. The Warriors withstood a Cleveland Cavaliers rally in Game 5, picking up a series clinching 129-120 win Monday night.

The Warriors have now won two NBA titles in the last three years. This year’s Finals MVP is likely to be free agent addition Kevin Durant, who was fantastic in the Finals this year. He’s the first player with at least 30 points in five straight finals games since Shaq did it in 2000.
