Wizards vs. Nets final score: Washington holds on in overtime for 119-113 win over Brooklyn

John Wall nailed a pair of jumpers in the final minute of overtime to guide the Wizards to a 119-113 win over the Nets on Saturday night. His heroics in overtime covered up a rough second half for Washington in which the team blew a 20 point halftime lead and gave up a 14-5 run over the final four minutes of regulation.

The Wizards started the game firing on all cylinders. Marcin Gortat and Markieff Morris flourished against the Nets’ small starting lineup. They scored or assisted on five of the team’s first seven shots as the Wizards jumped out to an early 20-4 lead.
