Another win that could've been for the Washington Nationals who opened their home stand with a 6-5 loss to the Florida Marlins at Nationals Park tonight. The Nats fell behind early as the Marlins jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but the pesky Nats wouldn't go away and kept battling.
The loss drops the Nats to 18-20 on the season. I like a lot of things I'm seeing out of this young Nats team and I know more growing pains are ahead, but it's all starting to come together right before our eyes.
