Todd Coffey Will Be Fine After Taking Line Drive Off His Elbow

I'm glad to hear that pitcher Todd Coffey will be fine and the x-rays were negative after taking a wicked line drive off his elbow in yesterdays game. After seeing the ball hit his arm and then seeing how quickly it swelled up, I was convinced it was broken. Coffey is being listed as day to day, but I don't think we'll see him for at least a week or so.

The good thing is he will not be lost for the season and rookie Cole Kimball made his MLB debut this past weekend and looks capable of holding things down until Coffey is able to return.
