Nationals Minor League Report: Single-A Hagerstown Suns

OF Bryce Harper, 18, leads Nationals minor leaguers in almost every offensive category, including batting average (.366), doubles (12), home runs (9), RBI (32), runs scored (26), OBP (.448), slugging (.657) and OPS (1.105)...he posted an 18-game hitting streak from April 26-May 14, batting .471 (33-for-70) with 12 runs scored, 8 doubles, 6 homers and 17 RBI during the tear...Harper, the No. 1 overall selection in the 2010 Draft, entered the 2011 campaign as the Nationals No. 1 prospect, according to Baseball America.

INF Blake Kelso hit safely in 16 straight games (April 30-May 16), going 27-for-70 (.471) during the streak...in 38 games overall, he is hitting .358 with 10 doubles, one triple, one homer, 22 RBI and 6 stolen bases...the 22-year-old ranks among SAL leaders in hits (t-2nd, 53) and batting average (5th)...the versatile Kelso has played games at 2B, 3B and SS...he was selected in 10th round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Houston.

RHP Chris Manno hasn't allowed an earned run in 14 games this season...with 27 strikeouts and 4 walks in 18.1 innings, he's posted a 6.75/1 strikeout-to-walk ratio and 13.25 strikeouts per 9.0 innings...the Duke University product has 6 saves in 7 chances, and owns a .113 BAA (7-for-61).
