Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks announced today the 2015.16 season schedule of events and themes for #20in20; the 20th anniversary celebration of Rogers Arena. The first of 20 special game nights begins opening night with a look back at the original opening night, on October 9, 1995, when the Canucks moved downtown, the Grizzlies were born and the world’s biggest acts landed a new destination.
The #20in20 celebration includes a selection of marquee nights with special guest appearances in addition to themed game nights honouring unique moments in Rogers Arena’s rich history. Marquee #20in20 nights include a reunion of the West Coast Express Line on Monday, December 7th versus Buffalo and the return of Markus Naslund, Brendan Morrison and Todd Bertuzzi to Rogers Arena.
