The biggest news of preseason for the Utah Jazz came in yesterday with Trevor Booker receiving a one game suspension for his altercation with Roy Hibbert. While the scuffle deserves punishment, I’m glad that the NBA gave just one game suspension–it could have been longer.
Booker will be with the team tonight against the Suns and for the remainder of the preseason before serving his suspension.
On One Hand
Many pundits have the Jazz and the Suns pegged to compete for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference. However, I firmly believe that Jazz will also make a play for the seventh seed.
