The Toronto Maple Leafs are entering the 2015 NHL Draft without a second round pick – and in a quality draft like this that’s unacceptable.
Toronto has the pieces available to trade into the 2nd round and they need to act on it. There are a solid group of players available in this years draft and the Leafs need to capitalize on that to replenish a below average prospect pool.
Already sitting with the 4th overall selection and another selection in the first round – presumably #22 overall – the Leafs are primed to get good talent.
