To recap what was said, the Leafs have, “a Hall of Fame coach, three young superstars, a group of in-their-prime core players that make the team extremely deep, and an all-star caliber goalie.” The Leafs should act on this rare opportunity, and trade away a first rounder to get pieces that are ready to go, now. A first rounder might turn out into a great player, but the Leafs need a great right-handed defenseman now.
