Toronto Maple Leafs: Sustainable Shooting Percentages Or Not?

The question is, can the Toronto Maple Leafs shooters keep up the pace that they’ve been scoring at for the first quarter of the year?

The quick answer is yes.

The Leafs top players are shooting well, but they aren’t shooting at outrageous percentages that you’d expected to drop off at some point – at least not drastically.

Nazem Kadri’s percentage is up nearly 10 percentage points from last year, but last year he was disgustingly below his career average. While he may find a drop, it should only be 1-2%.

James van Riemsdyk is shooting the best he’s ever shot, but even still he should only suffer a 1-2% drop.
