First up is forward Carl Grundstrom. Besides having a hilarious name, Carl Grundstrom is also known for being drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
Grundstrom, taken 57th overall, was the Leafs third pick of the 2016 draft. Auston Matthews – maybe you’ve heard of him? – was picked first overall, and then they took Yegor Korshkov with the first pick of the second round.
“Grundy” as he may or may not be often called, is a left-shooting right-winger who is listed as 6′ 194 lbs and has been compared to Leo Komorav, in terms of playing style.
