The Toronto Maple Leafs have lost four of their last five games and will look to turn things around tonight.
On the negative side, the Leafs have lost ground to Tampa and second place in the Atlantic provides a very unfavorable first round scenario. Additionally, the Leafs have recently lost to Detroit and Florida, two teams that won’t make the playoffs, and who the Leafs should easily defeat.
On the plus side, two of those games went to overtime where the result becomes a 50/50 coin flip, and another featured them out playing the league’s top team only to lose because of an insane goal-tending performance.
