While the rumored June 11th deadline has come and gone, the Toronto Maple Leafs are still being linked to Kelly McCrimmon coming aboard.
According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, via the Brandon Sun, McCrimmon has been speaking to potential coaching candidates to replace him behind the bench in Brandon.
There’s still no word on what title, exactly, McCrimmon is rumored to have been offered with the Toronto Maple Leafs – other than it’s a front office role.
If all the rumors hold weight then it seems like Kelly McCrimmon will be on his way to Toronto at some point in the very near future.
