Toronto Maple Leafs players Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews have been doing well at breaking franchise records lately. Both are inching closer to breaking even more of them soon.
Matthews and Marner recently became the fastest and second-fastest Toronto Maple Leafs players to reach 500 points. At the rate at which these two produce points, they will be approaching 600 points in no time. They will both be within the striking range of 600 next season.
We have already seen Matthews break the Toronto record for goals by a Toronto rookie and the most goals in a season by any Toronto player.
