Are the Toronto Maple Leafs going to trade for Max Domi?
Max Domi is currently in his last year of a $5.3M AAV contract, which means he could be a trade target for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Domi’s career has been filled with ups and downs. The former 12th overall pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft had a great rookie season with the Arizona Coyotes, but was promptly traded away to the Montreal Canadiens two years later.
That first campaign in Montreal was also incredible, and although it was weird to see Domi in a Canadiens jersey, he lived up to the lofty expectations that come with playing in one of hockey’s biggest market.
