It has been a while since Martin Marincin‘s name has come up in Toronto Maple Leafs news.
Marincin has been a healthy scratch for most of the year, playing in just seven games this season.
The Toronto Maple Leafs PR account on Twitter released this morning that Marincin will be loaned to their AHL affiliate The Toronto Marlies.

With this Leafs team so close to the cap, there was always going to be a few cheaper contracts in order to fill out their six man defense on the back end.
