The Toronto Maple Leafs will take on the Ottawa Senators in the first of what will hopefully be well over 100 games this season.
The preseason is pretty boring, and it gets old fast, but at least the first game is pretty exciting.
Additionally, it’s only just over two weeks until the puck drops on the regular season.
Toronto Maple Leafs Make Some Cuts
In addition to kicking off the season tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs made a few cuts ahead of the first game.
Nothing major, and nothing too surprising, but they had over 75 players to start with, so it’s not unusual that they’d send about 20 of those guys home before playing a game.
