Could Marner return to the Toronto Maple Leafs lineup tomorrow night? It’s very likely.
With the 22-year-old ahead of his recovery schedule, it looks like he might play tomorrow night after all.
“I think — with the help from them (training staff), I’m not really surprised that it’s early,” says Marner after yesterday’s practice, “like I said, hopefully I can get out there soon with the guys, and help out and win some games.”
As Shore is waived today, it seems very clear that Marner will be coming off injured reserve tomorrow.
It does look like Jason Spezza is staying with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
