During Saturday’s tilt with the Winnipeg Jets, Dermott took a slap shot off the ankle which left him in serious pain.
He left in the first period of the game and didn’t come back.

Of course, this worried many Leafs fans, seeing as Dermott has been arguably one of their best defensemen for most of the season.
