Every NHL team faces pressure of some sort. The league’s 32nd team in Seattle is barely in existence and won’t play a game until 2021, but they’re already under pressure to match the astonishing on-ice start of the Vegas Golden Knights. There’s also regional pressures – the three New York City-area clubs always feel the heat to finish ahead of their two Metropolitan Division counterparts.
