Toronto, ON, May 3, 2016 – The Toronto Maple Leafs are teaming up with Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area (Habitat GTA) as a Title Home Sponsor of the Yousuf Family home on Birchmount Road. Construction on the home has begun and is scheduled to be completed before the end of 2016 to allow Eskinder Yousuf, his wife Sayo, and their seven children to move into their new home in time for the holidays.
This new Title Home Sponsorship builds on the relationship between the two organizations that began in 2015 with Maple Leaf players and staff working at Habitat GTA’s McLevin build site to help build homes for low-income families in the GTA.
