On the team’s performance:
I thought we should’ve had a better start in terms of really being able to dictate the play and score first. Really, that was the big thing. We talked about it this morning: San Jose is playing terrific team defense. They are playing really well as a team. They have lots of confidence. You can tell they’re on their way here and really believing in what they are doing.
To get behind the game is not ideal for us. It took us a while to really find our way towards getting to the net and generating some meaningful scoring chances.
