Since losing out in the first round again, the Maple Leafs have made it abundantly clear that they believe in the core and have very little interest in moving out any of its pieces. Kyle Dubas is pretty much betting his job on it at this point:
Fairly simply, I understand that some may look at it and say this group hasn’t gotten it done, thus why there has to be changes. For better or worse, I believe in this group. I believe that they are going to get it done and that they are going to win… I am comfortable with it.
