The Toronto Maple Leafs had the second highest power-play conversion rate last season.

Scoring a goal on 23.8% of their chances, the Toronto Maple Leafs had 58 power play goals. They missed out on having the league’s best power-play by less than one percentage point to the Buffalo Sabres. They were third in the NHL for total power-play goals, with 58. The Tampa Bay Lightning led the NHL with 62.

In the offseason, the Leafs added Patrick Marleau. Additionally, Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and William Nylander will all be a year older and thus (one assumes) at least slightly improved.
