The Leafs are back in action tonight after a short four day break in games. They face the Canucks, who are the last team in the division the Leafs have yet to play this season. Oh, wait, there’s also the Jets*. That’s easy to forget since the Leafs don’t play the Jets at all until... (check notes) March 9th? Wow. The scheduling is very unusual this season.
For right now, it’s the Canucks here in Toronto and the Leafs will spend a whole six days with them for three consecutive games.
The Canucks’ 6-7-0 record for the season-to-date is worse than where most had pegged the team to be.
