The Montréal Canadiens have announced they are hosting the Rookie Showcase this fall at Place Bell in Laval, home of the Rocket.
Top prospects from three Canadian franchises will go head-to-head on September 7th, 8th and 9th. This year, the tournament will showcase the newly drafted rookies, free agent signings and camp invitees from the Ottawa Senators, the Toronto Maple Leafs and the local Montreal Canadiens.
For the Leafs, Place Bell is a place most of their rookies have been.
The Marlies played in Laval six times in the Rocket’s premier season and beat them in all six.
