The Toronto Maple Leafs will make several announcements in a centennial season press conference on Thursday morning.
The Hockey Hall of Fame (HHOF) will host Brendan Shanahan and Leafs alumni Johnny Bower and Ron Ellis for a 10 a.m. press conference.
According to a team release, the press conference will be held in order to announce "a number of the events and initiatives that will take place during the team’s 2016-17 Centennial Anniversary season." The Leafs and the NHL have already announced plans to host the Centennial Classic outdoor game at BMO Field in Toronto against the Detroit Red Wings.
