Last October, he was 6-5-0 with a .896 save percentage and 3.46 goals against average. In his first season with the Leafs, he was 2-2-3 with a .876 save percentage and 3.67 goals against average in the opening month. He has been good every season at the end of the day, but it’s nice to see him come out of the gate strong and put his October struggles behind him.
