Let’s get right to the game in 10. Emotions are high after this loss, but I don’t think it was nearly as bad as some are making it out to be. More on that below.
1) The Leafs started the game brightly and were rewarded with a power-play goal by Zach Hyman. In the aftermath of this game, I’ve seen a lot of commentary about the Leafs getting outworked and outplayed, but they were handily taking it to Ottawa for most of the period. The Senators weren’t couldn’t get out of their zone — they had four shots on net with a few minutes left in the period.
