The Maple Leafs defeated the Sabres last night with second to go on overtime. Auston Matthews came up with a big goal for the win, though he was admitted he didn’t expect that to happen, because of his own error.
Matthews said he "probably" should have changed about 20 seconds before winner, felt lucky his decision not to didn't cost #Leafs. But was definitely winded when he put that puck in the net.

In either case, the Leafs won and picked up two points for the standings.
