March and April represent the second wave of prospects we get to see in the NHL. The Toronto Maple Leafs have led the charge when they called up a good portion of their future from the AHL following the trade deadline, but they aren't alone in getting a look at what the future holds as the season winds down.
And the process isn't reserved for lottery teams, as playoff-bound clubs are equally as likely to bring up a prospect that has been working on their game in the minors for a cup of coffee in the NHL.
