At least one person in the Toronto Maple Leafs organization is a winner this season.
If anything, today reminds us that the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to the future. The on-ice product at the NHL level must go on today, but it's not even close to being the finished project; more of a stop-gap out of necessity. Wins here and there are nice, but they're not necessarily the point.
But that isn't the case throughout the organization. The Marlies are having an incredible season. Beyond them, there are other prospects playing else, and that includes Frolunda forward Andreas Johnson.
