Toronto Maple Leafs star forward Mitch Marner was carjacked while heading to a movie Monday evening, the team confirmed on Tuesday.
We can confirm Mitch Marner was the unfortunate victim of a carjacking in Etobicoke on Monday evening. He was unharmed in the incident and the Club & Mitch are thankful for Toronto Police Services’ support. Anyone with information is asked to reach out to Toronto Police Services.
According to a Toronto Police report, the All-Star winger was allegedly robbed at The Queensway and Islington Ave in the west end of Toronto by three suspects carrying two handguns and a knife.
