Syracuse football: RB Jawhar Jordan enters transfer portal

The Syracuse Orange have seen a number of players come and go already from the program through the transfer portal this offseason. And now, another Syracuse player is set to leave Central New York as 247sports’s Stephen Bailey reported that running back Jawhar Jordan has entered the transfer portal.

Jordan turned heads during his freshman season in 2019 with some explosive plays, especially during the Louisville game. He rose through the depth chart to become the starting running back for the 2020 season after Abdul Adams and Jarveon Howard opted out. Unfortunately, Jordan struggled as the primary back, logging only 72 yards in three games.
