Now, they're one win away from advancing to the Stanley Cup Final.
Heading into Game 4 at home tonight, the Panthers have a 3-0 lead on the Carolina Hurricanes. This is the second series in a row that the Panthers have had a 3-0 series lead. In the second round, the Panthers were up 3-0 on the Maple Leafs and ended up winning the series in five games.
The Hurricanes have their backs against the wall, losing the first two games in overtime and then getting shutout by a final score of 1-0 in Game 3.
