Wasserman, the agency that represents Ronald Koeman, has apparently hit back at FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta’s lack of commitment over their client’s future.
“I have already told Koeman what I had to tell him very clearly,” Laporta said in a press conference. “We’re assessing the season. He has a contract in place [but] I don’t believe in transitional seasons. We will continue to speak to him and make further decisions next week.”
Rumors suggest Laporta is open to hiring a new manager to take over next season, but he has yet to decide on whom to hire, or even if he really would sack the current one.
