Robert Lewandowski is just three games away from seeing his contract with Barcelona automatically renewed until 2026.
The 36-year-old striker has a clause in his existing deal which will be triggered if he plays at least 45 minutes of 55% of Barcelona’s matches this season.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Lewandowski is now just three games away from hitting that target and earning an extra year with the Catalans.
Lewandowski has already played 45 minutes in 31 of 34 games this season for Barcelona, with Hansi Flick’s side able to play a maximum of 61 matches in the 2024-25 campaign.
