Reading assistant manager, Andries Ulderink, has confirmed that Tiago llori is on the verge of joining the Championship club from Liverpool in the January transfer window.
llori joined Liverpool in 2013 for a fee of around £7m from Sporting Lisbon. The 23-year-old centre-back failed to live up to expectations at Anfield, and managed only three appearances for the Reds.
In between, he was loaned out to Aston Villa, Bordeaux and Granada, but never really impressed any Liverpool manager.
