Miralem Pjanic was officially unveiled as a Barcelona player on Tuesday after completing his move from Juventus.
The midfielder has signed a four-year deal at the Camp Nou and has been handed the No. 8 shirt, taking over from Arthur.
Pjanic talked about how he’s looking forward to playing with captain Lionel Messi and how he could not envisage the Argentine playing for another club.
“He’s possibly the best footballer of all time. He’s an extra-terrestrial,” he said.
“I couldn’t see Messi with another shirt. For me, it was impossible and I thought everything would be sorted out in the end.
