Mike Mulvey to join Thailand's Police Tero

The former Brisbane Roar boss will continue his southeast Asian sojourn by moving to the Thai League after previous jobs in Malaysia

Thai League club Police Tero are set to unveil former A-League championship-winning coach Mike Mulvey as their new manager on Monday.

Police Tero, who were formed this year through a merger of BEC Tero Sasana and Police United, have failed to win their last five games in Thailand's top flight and sit 10th in the 18-team competition.

A post on Police Tero's Facebook page announced that Mulvey will take over from Uthai Boonmoh.

Mulvey, 54, last coached Terengganu in the Malaysia Super League as a caretaker having previously worked there as their technical director, while he also coached Sabah in the same competition.
