The signing of Marcus Rashford in the current transfer window is looking less and less likely. With Ansu Fati unlikely to leave, and other sales like that of Eric Garcia ruled out, FC Barcelona will not have space under La Liga FFP rules to bring the Englishman to Catalonia.
The plan was to bring him on loan but his big salary makes that unlikely, and Manchester United are not ready to pay part of his wages, either.
However, the link-up cannot fully be ruled out, even if he does not sign on loan this window.
