The former Gunners player has attacked English clubs for large transfer fees and their lack of recent Champions League success.
Former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has criticized Premier League clubs for spending too much in the transfer market and insisted that they are not purchasing wisely.
Lehmann, who spent five years at the Gunners, including an appearance in the 2006 Champions League final cut short by a red card, has commented on the way that English clubs are run, and pointed out that there are few ex-professionals involved in boardroom matters.
But it is the spending of Premier League clubs that the 45-year-old is most concerned with.
