Barcelona hold ‘tentative talks’ with Man Utd outcast Marcus Rashford

Barcelona have reportedly held “tentative talks” with Marcus Rashford about a potential loan move ahead of the close of the January transfer window.

Rashford has been frozen out at Manchester United by manager Ruben Amorim who has questioned the forward’s commitment and attitude.

The forward appears to be holding out for a move to Barcelona but that still looks tricky due to the club’s financial constraints.

According to The Telegraph, the Catalans have tentatively spoken to Rashford but there is “doubt” over whether a deal can be struck.

One of the major problems is, of course, Rashford’s wages of over £325,000 per week which could potentially block any winter exit.
