Barcelona will have to cope without Ferran Torres for the rest of the season after the Spain star underwent surgery for appendicitis.
The Spain star, who is in the midst of his best ever season, was taken to hospital for tests and then went under the knife.
Here’s Barcelona’s statement:
“First team player Ferran Torres underwent successful surgery last night for appendicitis. The operation was performed by Drs. Coroleu and Borràs at Hospital de Barcelona, under the supervision of the Club’s Medical Services.”
