Barcelona ask Jordi Cruyff if he will replace Ronald Koeman - report

Ronald Koeman’s future at Barcelona is once again dominating headlines after the midweek defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

It’s already been reported that Koeman is under pressure ahead of games against Granada, Levante and Cadiz and any slip-ups could cost the Dutchman his job at the Camp Nou.

Friday brings a fresh update from Diario Sport who reckon that Jordi Cruyff has been asked if he’s willing to take over from Koeman if the coach is fired.

The answer was apparently a resounding “no.” The report reckons Cruyff thinks Koeman is doing OK, considering the club’s injury problems, and is also a close friend which is said to be “an important factor.
