SEC Football Week 5 Power Rankings

We enter Week 5 of the college football season the picture of who is for real and just pretend in the SEC is starting to become more clear. The top two is obvious but three through 13I believe could be argued. if you want to argue with me on twitter @MitchellRenz365 please do or COMMENT on our College Football by Chat Sports Show on Facebook Live.

14.) Missouri Tigers (1-3)
Anytime you lose 51-14 I think you should be at the bottom of the SEC. The Tigers are easily the worst team in the SEC. Luckily they won't lose this week since they are on a bye.

13.) South Carolina Gamecocks (3-1)

Without Deebo Smith this team really struggled. Only beating Lousinanna Tech 17-16 is the main reason for the drop.

12.) Arkansas Razorbacks (1-2)
A tough overtime loss to Texas A&M 50-43. Yes, they have two losses but they are too two really good teams.

11.) Tennessee Volunteers (3-1)
The good news is they won, the bad news is they beat UMass 17-13. UMass is currently 0-5.

10.)  Ole Miss Rebels (2-1)
Hopefully, the bye week has them prepared for Alabama. We will find out shortly I guess.

9.) Vanderbilt Commodores (3-1)

I learned that Alabama is really good and Vanderbilt isn't even close to them. I thought Vanderbilt was going to play at a little better. Losing 59-0 just shows the difference in talent this season in the SEC from top to bottom.

8.) Texas A&M Aggies (3-1)
This may be one of the streakiest teams in college football. They scored 50 points this past weekend but allowed that crazy comeback from UCLA and only scored seven points a week ago.

7. Mississippi State (3-1)
A big game is ahead for Missippi State and if they don't show a more balanced offense they will have a long day against Auburn.

6.) Kentucky Wildcats (3-1)
Even though Kentucky lost, I thought they played well. Obviously, they need to limit the broken plays. If they don't make two boneheaded coverage errors against Florida they probably win that game.

5.) LSU Tigers (3-1)
They have a talented roster which may be the reason for them being in my top five. They need to start showing that talent or else they will simply have to drop.

4.) Florida Gators (2-1)
Good teams win close games and Florida squeaked out a close one on the road against Kentucky. The offense at times is well not very good but the defense is solid.

3.) Auburn Tigers (3-1)
Their only loss is to Clemson but this team still leaves me wondering. Wondering if they are for real or not. They show flashes at times but other times I'm left scratching my head. The offense played well this past weekend but it was against Missouri.

2. ) Georgia Bulldogs (4-0)
The clear-cut second best team in the SEC. Georgia won easily this week. Nick Chubb is a stud and this Georgia team may be the only team in the SEC to challenge Alabama.

1.) Alabama Crimson Tide (4-0)
Easily the best team in the SEC and showed how much better they are than every other team beating Vanderbilt 59-0. Just pure dominance.
