The 4 Best Games In SEC Football In 2015

SEC football is back, and we're here to ensure you get maximum couch time during the conference's biggest games of the 2015 regular season. Here's our list of The 4 Best Games In SEC Football In 2015.

4. Auburn Tigers at LSU Tigers (September 19th)

How's this for a pivotal early season showdown? Auburn hasn't won in Baton Rouge since people were stocking up on Spam for Y2K (1999). Auburn's schedule is a killer over their final six games, so this September showdown is a key precursor for them to announce themselves as College Football Playoff favorites.

3. Georgia Bulldogs at Auburn Tigers (November 14th)

Remember 2013's "Prayer at Jordan-Hare"? This one may not live up to that year's game in terms of pure insanity, but it's still a marquee showdown which could very well have a Part Two in the SEC Championship Game. It may not hit a lot of pundits' top-ten lists when it comes to the best showdowns in the nation for 2015, but it's right there for us.

2. Alabama Crimson Tide at Georgia Bulldogs (October 3rd)

Alabama hasn't traveled to Athens since the "Blackout" game in 2008. You think the UGA fans are going to sign off on a comfortable little tea party between the hedges? Other than our #1 entry on the list, this will be the ultimate test for whoever happens to win the starting QB job at Bama. Win this one and the Tide might be able to skate backwards into November in championship shape.

1. Alabama Crimson Tide at Auburn Tigers (November 28th)

If you need a primer as to why this game is #1 on our list, you've been in cryogenic freeze for the past 20 years or so. The Iron Bowl is special for a myriad of reasons, including the simple fact that both programs and fan bases utterly DESPISE one another. This year's incarnation could easily be a de facto SEC West title game and a gateway for the winner to cementing a College Football Playoff berth.

No pressure, right?
